Recent achievements (3 years) Main achievements:
A large part of the population of Bangladesh is women. Women's development is one of the conditions of national development. Equality and equal rights are constitutional rights of women. In order to establish national development, poverty alleviation and democratic society, it is important to ensure equitable participation of men and women. National Women's Organization is working to establish gender equality of women through economic development, awareness building, skill development and rights. In the last 03 (three) years, for the self-employment of poor women, 132 (one and thirty-two) women have been distributed Rs 17,95,000 / - (seventeen lakhs and seventy five thousand rupees) in order to self-employment. In the saline and embraced training programs, a total of 270 ( Two hundred seventy-five people and training (food preparation and servicing) training programs have been provided to 95 women (girls). Besides, for the prevention of trafficking of women and children, prevention of dowry and child marriage, awareness has been made to create awareness about 1200 (1, 200) women in 30 (thirty) yards.
